ZWF Miami Visited Lotus House Women’s Shelter
Since 2001, ZWF Miami has been dedicated to preserving and protecting animals as well as educating the public about rare and endangered animals both in captivity and in the wild.
During the Foundation’s visit to the Lotus House, which is home to over 175 women and children, shelter residents will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of having compassion and caring for animals. They will personally interact with Capuchin monkeys, Fennec fox, Spectacled owl, among other animals.
