We recently had two new visitors here, Naima and AJ! They are friends of ZWF and had a very wonderful experience interacting with “Titan” our bengal tiger. All of us at ZWF hope they enjoyed their visit here. Interacting with animals is an amazing experience, at the Zoological Wildlife Foundation, you are able to be up close and personal with the animals and have an experience like no other. Nabha is a big girl now! Nabha is our Tiger Cub. She spends her time in an enclosure with our two lion cubs “Simba & Abu”.  Nabha is growing more and more each day! Cylcone our Cougar Cub was enjoying his outdoor playtime, while getting into the Christmas Spirit playing with his Santa hat! Cyclone continues to grow and loves to play with one of our Caucasian Mountain Dogs, as well as a French Bulldog named Maggie! White-handed gibbons brachiate, or swing by the arms, from branch to branch horizontally and vertically. Their long, strong arms enable them to quickly change direction in flight and to catch a handhold if they fall.

Marvin is a baby Red Kangaroo that just arrived at ZWF! He is doing great here so far! Marvin is a bit shy at first but he’s still settling in, im sure given some time he will be greeting people once he gets used to his new place! Leila is ready for Halloween! Leila is our baby Squirrel Monkey. Here she is in the photo wearing her “circus monkey outfit”. We have a wide variety of wildlife at our facility and do tours by appointment. The great thing about our tours, is that you get to interact with the animals as part of the tour instead of just seeing them from afar. Meet the two new members of the ZWF family! Ella and Eddie the Ostriches. The Ostrich is one or two species of large flightless birds native to Africa.With their acute eyesight and hearing, Ostriches can sense predators such as lions from far away. When being pursued by a predator, they have been known to reach speeds in excess of 43 mph), and can maintain a steady speed of 31 mph, which makes the Ostrich the world’s fastest two-legged animal. When lying down and hiding from predators, the birds lay their heads and necks flat on the ground, making them appear as a mound of earth from a distance. The Zoological Wildlife Foundation does private tours! We have many different packages to choose from. Our tours are done by appointment only, and what makes our tours so great is that the guests interact with our animals! Most or all of our animals here are handled on a daily basis and are used for educational presentations so they are used to getting handled and around people!
