Abu & Simba, our Lions, are enjoying their large enclosure area very much! Yesterday we went in the enclosure with them to give them some exercise and interaction. Oh boy are they a handful! These boys are full of energy and never run out of batteries! Lions, especially males are usually very lazy, but not these lions! The minute we walked into their enclosure they immediate started to run up to us, and were jumping, diving, rolling, you name it. We love to see the energy they show us because we truly know they are happy. Abu and Simba still have a lot of growing to do, and we can’t wait for their manes to come in! Donna the tufted Capuchin, was enjoying her monkey biscuit as she played in the rain this afternoon, with her two other friends, who are also capuchin monkeys. Donna is very intelligent, and as you can see from the photo above, she is very curious and loves to inspect everything especially electronic devices! This past Saturday (5/12/12) The ZWF Staff took out Malinka the Ligress, and Titan the Bengal Tiger for their routine training and exercise! We also got to get a few very nice updated shots with some of the staff members and the big cats! You can see how much the cats and staff love each and also show a mutual respect for eachother. We are so happy we got to capture these great moments on camera so we can cherish these memories forever. Titan and Malinka are part of our private tours! Would you like to meet them in person too? Sahima our white Tiger Cub is growing up very quickly! It seems as if just yesterday she was only opening her eyes. She already shows her own individual personality, and is very calm and sweet by nature. She loves to be interacted with, and plays with a young Bernese Mountain Dog during the day (she usually uses him as a large pillow to take her naps). She is truly a special creature. You can meet Sahima in person on one of our very private and special tours! Yes, that’s right, you can actually meet our baby tiger cub in person and spend some time with her! We love to see the happy and excited faces of people who have always dreamed to be in the presence of a tiger cub. It is a great pleasure to make the dreams of many people come true on one of our tours. Sharon and Shannon were recent visitors to the Zoological Wildlife Foundation, here is what they had to say about their experience here!

“This was the most amazing experience, I would love to visit again, certainly take you up on that.

FFWC Lt. Patrick Reynolds had a retirement party thrown in his honor here at our ZWF Facility! There was many FFWC and wildlife officials at the celebration. It was a very special honor for us to host this event at our facility. We had our tiger cubs and primates out for photo ops, and everyone had a great time! We recently had two new visitors here, Naima and AJ! They are friends of ZWF and had a very wonderful experience interacting with “Titan” our bengal tiger. All of us at ZWF hope they enjoyed their visit here. Interacting with animals is an amazing experience, at the Zoological Wildlife Foundation, you are able to be up close and personal with the animals and have an experience like no other.
