FFWC Lt. Patrick Reynolds had a retirement party thrown in his honor here at our ZWF Facility! There was many FFWC and wildlife officials at the celebration. It was a very special honor for us to host this event at our facility. We had our tiger cubs and primates out for photo ops, and everyone had a great time! As stated in a previous blog post, we had a very nice Christmas Party held here at The Zoological Wildlife Foundation! The Zoological Wildlife Foundation had a wonderful Christmas Party that was Moroccan themed and had an amazing outcome. The Zoological Wildlife Foundation was part of a Live Nativity Scene at Miami Shores Presbyterian Church. We brought our farm animals and camels to be a part of the Nativity Scene, and it turned out really well! The nativity scene took place this past Friday and Saturday. Marley was part of a wonderful occasion this passed Tuesday! He was part of a Birthday surprise! The look on the Birthday Girls face was priceless as she got to hug Marley and take many photos with him as well. Marley loved all the attention he got! Marley is our White Handed Gibbon Ape. Animals bring great joy to any event so why not make your event that much more special by having a few of our animal friends at your special occasion or party! Aden, celebrated his 1st birthday here at The Zoological Wildlife Foundation! He had a Safari/Wildlife Themed event here and it was spectacular! There was games, food, pony rides, pinata, wild animals, face painting, a playground, and a bounce house! It was a wonderful birthday celebration, and the animals that attended made it that much more special as well. ZWF was at the MardiGras Casino every Wednesday of this month (September). Yesterday was our last day there, and of course we had to leave with a bang! We brought both of our Lion Cubs, Abu & Simba, to the Casino for their photo sessions. Everyone absolutely loved the cubs!  Overall we brought Nabha our Tiger Cub, Raven our Alaskan Tundra Wolf, Nigel our Crocodile, Marley our White-handed Gibbon Ape, Donna our Tufted Capuchin, and Abu & Simba our Lion Cubs! The MardiGras Casino has invited us to bring our animals every Wednesday of this month. We had photo sessions with our animals and the members of the casino as well. So far Nabha our tiger cub attended the event, as well as Marley our white-handed gibbon ape, and Donatella our tufted capuchin. ZWF’s recent school visit to First Steps International Academy! We brought along a few of our animal friends for two different visits to First Steps International Academy. The first visit was with some Australian animals, which was the school’s theme at the time. The next visit we did was an Ocean animal theme! Some of the animals we brought along for our Ocean Animal presentation was a Lobster, Seahorse, Starfish, and Stingray. For the Australian Animal presentation we brought along a Kangaroo, Cockatoo, Blue-Tongue Skink, and Emu! The Zoological Wildlife Foundation does many school presentations and Educational Shows. If you have a certain animal theme you’d like to have for your presentation, we can do it! It is a very special experience for the kids, and even the parents and teachers enjoy the presentation just as much! The Zoological Wildlife Foundation took a few animals for the De Ona Wedding located in The palm Hotel & Spa. We took one of our Cinnamon Capuchins, dressed up in a tuxedo outfit, and a Siberian Lynx as well! Animals are always a great addition to any event, they make any event that much more special.
