ZWF welcomes Norman the Limousin Steer!
There isn’t a lot of information on Limousin Cattle, but one thing is certain, these animals get extremely HUGE! Norman is loving the time he is spending at ZWF, he roams around the facility very happily, and LOVES attention from humans. Today, has officially made it a year that I have been here at The Zoological Wildlife Foundation. Where do I begin! Not only have I learned so many new things, but I have made new friends, met so many new people who share the same passion as me, and I have become part of a big family here at ZWF. Words cannot express how grateful I am to Mario and Maria for all the opportunities they have given me. I thank them for that. Of course, not everything is always perfect, I had my ups and downs. I have experienced so many incredible things and so many amazing animals all in this one year time frame! I have learned many lessons about handling animals along the way. I have scars on my arms and legs from all different types of animals, but you know what, I wouldn’t have it any other way. The Zoological Wildlife Foundation really is my home away from home. My first day there I was introduced to the baby capuchins, I started learning how to bathe them and even put pampers on them. It was the first time I had ever even learned how to use a pamper and it was for a monkey! Now, I think I am a record pamper changer! I can definitely say that I will always feel welcomed here, and The Zoological Wildlife Foundation has definitely grown on me. No matter what, throughout the bad times and good, I will always be thankful for what Mario and Maria have done for me.

Zoey is a 5 week old Coatimundi! She is very active and intelligent. Coati in general are very smart animals, so having a Coati in your life would be similar to having a 2 year old that will never grow up! If you would like to see more photos of “Zoey” the coati then check out our coatimundi gallery.
