The Zoological Wildlife Foundation welcomes Abu & Simba! Abu is an African themed name meaning “father” and Simba is a Swahili name meaning “Lion”. Abu & Simba are Lion Cubs, they were born on July 12th, 2011. Both of them are males and will get that beautiful lion mane when they grow up! You can come see these adorable cubs up close and personal with a private tour here at our facility! These guys will be part of our tour packages! On January 9th 2011, Univision Radio hosted for the community of Miami a Three Kings Parade. Zoological Wildlife Foundation was honored to be a part of the parade on a Jungle float. The Jungle float was featured in the parade filled with exotic wildlife. The animals brought were a Crocodile, Alligator, Parrot, Red-ruffed Lemur, and Monkeys where the apart of the event. Aladdin - Dromedary Camel and Maria - Catalina Macaw

Brauser Miamonodies Academy hosted a Safari party for parents, teachers, friends and students attending.  Zoological Wildlife Foundation was asked to host the event with our exotic wildlife and trained handlers. Aladdin our Dromedary Camel, Sativia our White-handed gibbon, Angelina and Donattela our Tufted Capuchins,  Javi our Red Ruff Lemur, Maria the Catalina Macaw and Rachel our African Milky Eagle Owl were part of the animal actors that attended the Safari party. Please feel free to check our gallery for more pictures.

Malinka and Leloo had a wondeful time this Labor Day Weekend at Jungle Island. They thrilled thousands of visitors while interacting with their handlers. The sisters are being invited back to the Jungle real soon. We are very proud to have these girls and look forward to again share them with their growing fan club!

Carolina had her first day view modeling photo shoot with different exotics animals at ZWF. Titan our amazing Bengal Tiger and Sativa a White-Handed Gibbon.

Here are some new additions to ZWF! These baby Tamanduas will just melt your heart. The staff here will be working with them so that later on, we will be able to use them for educational presentation and teach people about these beautiful creatures. Swim with a buddy! In this case it was Titan our tiger!

We recently  put Titan in the pool for the first time, so that he can get used to swimming, and it was a very hot day here so it was a little treat for him to cool off! At first, Titan was a little cautious, and wanted nothing to do with the pool, but then as we got in and started splashing the water it really drew his attention over and he wanted to play with the water, after a little love and guidance, we gave him a little tug, and Titan was in the water! The minute he got in he LOVED it! Titan started swimming around, jumping off the steps so he can swim towards us, and at one point he even went to the deeper side with me, while he was swimming right behind me. We were so proud of Titan. Now that Titan is used to the water, we will be doing this on a usual basis. It’s great exercise too! Everyone meet CHOMP!

CHOMP is an Alligator Snapping Turtle, he is a new arrival, and enjoying his time being spent at ZWF. The reason why we named him CHOMP, is well, you guessed it! He chomps! Alligator Snapping Turtles have an incredible bite force and they can literally bite your finger right off!
