Odd animal friends!?

Monday, August 29th, 2011

Now isn’t this an odd animal pair! Here we have one of our lion cubs, playing with our baby mini dachshund! They play together most of the day, both of the lion cubs and our little dachshund. It’s nice to see different animal species getting along together! Although they play together for now, it should be known that when the cubs grow a little larger, unfortunately they will not be able to play together anymore, but in the meantime its a very cute thing to see! To view more photos of our lion cubs then visit Abu & Simba’s Gallery. If you’d like to see them in person, then wny not take a private tour at our facility!? We do tours by appointment only and you can view our different packages on our tours page.

Monday, August 29th, 2011

On the 20th of August, The Zoological Wildlife Foundation was part of a wonderful “Quince” celebration at Jungle Island. We brought our two Lion Cubs and our Gibbon Ape (Marley) dressed in a Tux! The party was very nice and everyone enjoyed themselves and got a chance to take a photo with our cubs and Marley. The birthday girl also made her way into the ballroom holding our lion cub as her entrance to her party. Marley was also held in the entrance as well. If you’d like to rent an animal for your next event, then please go to our animal rentals page for more info. To view more photos from the event then please visit the Quince at Jungle Island Gallery. We also have a quick video clip of the party as well as some photos of our animals and handlers that attended! Check out the video here
