Meet Zeek! Zeek is a Coatimundi! Zeek is related to the north american raccoon, and is extremely intelligent. Currently, Zeek is learning to do tricks, and in this photo he is showing his newly learned trick of standing up on his two legs on command. On January 9th 2011, Univision Radio hosted for the community of Miami a Three Kings Parade. Zoological Wildlife Foundation was honored to be a part of the parade on a Jungle float. The Jungle float was featured in the parade filled with exotic wildlife. The animals brought were a Crocodile, Alligator, Parrot, Red-ruffed Lemur, and Monkeys where the apart of the event. These are priceless photos, of our Lynx, and a Coatimundi playing together. OF COURSE, we wouldn’t have them playing with each other if they were full grown adults, but right now they are both babies, and they are just having some fun! These photos are too cute for words, and it’s nice to see different species of animals interacting together!

Zoey is a 5 week old Coatimundi! She is very active and intelligent. Coati in general are very smart animals, so having a Coati in your life would be similar to having a 2 year old that will never grow up!
