Tuesday, April 17th, 2012

We recently attended the “Earth Day Festival” at Pinecrest Gardens! The outcome was fantastic! We had live animal presentations, and we also had animal photo sessions! Everyone thought our animal shows were great, and we also had many people take photos with our many different animals after the show! Pinecrest gardens is a beautiful area, and the Earth Day Festival turned out very nice. Some animals we brought to the event were our capuchins, binturong, lemur, python, crocodile, tiger cub, gibbons, and a few more! Odd Animal Friends!

Tuesday, April 3rd, 2012

Here we have Donna our Tufted Capuchin, and a baby Kinkajou We put them together for interaction, because we know that Donna is a sweet girl and is very caring with any person and or animal. The minute we put the baby Kinkajou beside her, the first thing she did was come up to it and put her arm around him and put her nose to his nose. We caught the moment on camera! This photo is a great example of “Odd Animal Friends” and how some animals that are completely different species, can still be around each other and even play together!

Donna’s “Photoshoot”!

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

Donnatella, our Tufted Capuchin, had a little “photo-shoot” today. This was a fun activity for both her and us! We captured many beautiful photos of her, and at the same time, she was just being herself, exploring and acting like a silly primate! We used her natural abilities and took photos of her in different areas of our facility. Donna is such a beautiful and smart Capuchin. She had a great time just being herself and we had fun catching these moments on camera. To view more photos of Donna, then please visit Donna’s Gallery.

Tania and Baby Toby!

Monday, November 7th, 2011

Tania is Toby’s owner, and Toby is a Tufted Capuchin! Here is what she has to say about Toby and ZWF:

“Toby is 6 months now. He sure is a handful but very rewarding! We give him lot’s of attention and love that he returns right back to us. Toby requires a lot of patience, affection, and effort to be like the baby he is, but I love every second of being a “Monkey Mommy”. He is my dream come true. We all love Toby very much. I thank Mario and Maria for all the help they gave us and all the things they have taught us. Thank you!”

Animals are always a joy to be around. At The Zoological Wildlife Foundation we have many animals at our facility that interact with people on a daily basis, human and animal interaction is a wonderful experience, especially when you are having a bad day, a big hug from a primate, or a getting groomed and licked by a lemur will do the trick to cheer you right up! ZWF has many tour packages available, and included in our tours is actually hands on animal interaction! To view our tour packages, then please visit our tours page.
