Whoo, Our Spectacled Owl, We got her when she was a baby almost 8 weeks old. Now she is two years of age. She eats rodents, small mammals, birds, frogs, and reptiles. The spectacled owl is more often heard than seen. Its voice is a low-pitched rhythmic series of accelerating hoots. Adults and young also emit a single catlike cry.
