Meet Rachel, African Milky Eagle Owl

Rachel, our African Milky Eagle Owl is twenty-two years old.  One of the largest of the world’s owls. Typically found in Sub-Saharan Africa, along forest streams and rivers. They are nocturnal birds and roosts in tall trees. Light sleeper and will awaken very quickly to defend from attack in daylight hours.
