Our Directors

Zoological Wildlife Foundation (ZWF) is an organization founded by both Mario and Maria Tabraue. As a young boy, Mario's dream was to spend his life caring and working with exotic animals. Maria was always fascinated by animals and her love for primates. Both partners are grateful to have met and made their lives and chilhood dreams become a reality. We applaud our children and family for their support and love of animals, and Zoological Wildlife Foundation.

We both have dedicated and devoted our lives and time researching, studying and caring for animals, including native wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and release.

Like most people we consider our animals and extension of our family. Living with them on a daily basis and caring for them. We have experience with many animals: some of the most rare and exotic animals including: mammals, big cats, owls, hawks, parrots, pelicans, primates, zebra, camels, and Asian crocodiles.

Although it demands a lot of hard work, time and cost to maintain these animals a costly endeavor we are both committed and dedicated to carry out our task.

Together we have created ZWF what is today to promote the conservation and propagation of rare and endangered species in captivity and share our knowledge with others.

Volunteers and contributions are always welcomed to help us continue providing the ultimate conditions and enrichement possible for these wonderful animals.
